Juan Pablo Galavis Biography
Juan Pablo Galavis was born in Ithaca, New York and grew up in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. After high school he returned to the United States to play soccer at Roberts Wesleyan College, where he tallied a school record 25 assists from 1998 to 2001. After earning his degree he made his professional debut with Cascade Surge in the Primera Division Venezolana league. Over the next eight years he played with Caracas FC, UD Maritimo, Italchacao, Monagas SC, Aragua FC, Guaros FC and Miami FC before retiring as a player in 2008. After his retirement he made it big in the entertainment industry, appearing on the hit show The Bachelor in 2013 as the show’s first ever Latino star. He went on to become one of the most popular Bachelors in history. He has also ventured into the music business as a promoter on the Miami club and bar circuit.
