Biography Daniel JEAN PIERRE Shihan
Daniel JEAN PIERRE began to practice aikido in Avignon in 1963, He will follow Noboyushi TAMURA Sensei for 10 years from 1966.
After studying architecture, in 1976 he created his first Aikido dojo in Lons-le-Saunier. In 1977, he decided to go to Japan to train diligently at Aikikai in Tokyo with the Doshu Kisshomaru UESHIBA, of which he would become one of the uke, then with his son Moriteru every morning at 6:30 a.m. on the tatamis. He will also train diligently with future Sensei (Uchi-deshi).
He will also study with other Sensei like WATANABE, ISHIIHATCHI, TADA, YAMAGUCHI, ENDO…etc… He will take private lessons in stick weapons with MATSUDA Sensei and Bokken with SHIBATA sensei and ïaïdo with KANETSUKA Sensei at the police dojo in Yotsuya-Sanchôme.
Throughout this period, he taught French and gave lectures on French painting at the cultural center of the Athénée Français in Tokyo. In January 2017, the World Aikido Center in Tokyo will award the title of Shihan to Daniel JEAN PIERRE.

Seishiro Endo was born on September 6, 1942, in the Saku city, Nagano prefecture. He is an 8 Dan Aikido Aikikai Shihan now and one of those who learned from the O-Sensei directly.
In 1963 Seishiro Endo joined the Gakushuin University where he attended his first Aikido class. Hiroshi Tada was teaching and later he was changed by Mitsunari Kanai and Yasuo Kobayashi.
In 1964 Seishiro entered a Hombu Dojo as an uchi-deshi. These were the very late years of the O-Sensei but he was still there. Seishiro also had a chance to meet the best possible teachers like Kisshomaru Ueshiba, Koichi Tohei, Seigo Yamaguchi and Kisaburo Osawa. All of those influenced young Seishiro much.
When Endo was 30 years old he dislocated his shoulder and this changed a lot. Shihan became much softer and deeply interested in the mind and body feelings. He talks about the ki, calmness and represents his ways with his moves.
