Zhou Yuelong is a three-time ranking event finalist who has been ranked as high as number 17 in the world in 2021.
A professional since the start of the 2014/15 season, Zhou subsequently established himself among the world’s top 32 players, qualifying for the televised stages of the World Championship in 2017 and 2019, as well as reaching his first ranking event semi-final at the 2018 European Masters.
In 2020, Zhou would go one better at the same event, ultimately suffering a 9-0 whitewash at the hands of an inspired Neil Robertson in the title match, before also losing out to Michael Holt in the final of the Shoot Out a month later.
Two years later, Zhou would again make to a ranking event final at the 2022 Northern Ireland Open, but from 4-1 up against home favourite Mark Allen, would lose the next eight frames.
He would reach his maiden Triple Crown Series semi-final at the 2020 UK Championship, again losing to Robertson 6-2.

Zhou Yuelong (Chinese: 周跃龙; born 24 January 1998) is a Chinese professional snooker player. He has been runner-up at three ranking events, the January 2020 European Masters, the 2020 Snooker Shoot Out, and the 2022 Northern Ireland Open.
Career
Between 2011 and 2014, Zhou was regularly selected to play in the wildcard round of Chinese ranking events. He could only win two of the nine he played in and was knocked out in the first round in both of those. Zhou won the 2013 IBSF World Snooker Championship which enabled him to join the snooker tour for the 2014–15 season.[2]
2014/2015 season
Zhou turned pro in 2014. His first win as a professional came at attempt number one as he defeated Alfie Burden 5–3 to qualify for the 2014 Wuxi Classic, where he lost 5–3 to Graeme Dott in the first round.[3] Zhou defeated compatriot Liang Wenbo 6–2 to qualify for the International Championship and won his first ever match at a ranking event by eliminating Ch
